Rev. MARY AZIMA FRENCH JACKSON, DMin
Mary French Jackson is an Interfaith Minister.
She possesses an extensive educational and practical background, and
is dedicated to embracing the oneness of all people while honoring
the uniqueness of each faith tradition.
Mary holds a Doctorate in Ministry from the
University of Creation Spirituality and a Masters in Divinity from
Yale Divinity School. She is also certified in Psychosynthesis,
which seeks to achieve a synthesis, or a coming together of the
various parts of an individual, physical, mental, emotional, and
spiritual. She is a Reiki Master and Teacher. In
addition, she was a founding member and Instructor at
The School of Christian Healing, at St. Luke's Episcopal Church in
Darien, CT, and has earned Clinical Pastoral Education Units as a
Chaplain at both Yale New Haven and Griffin Hospitals.
She is well versed in Both Eastern and Western
approaches to music. She is a certified Leader of the
improvisational music organization, Music for People, has studied
North Indian sacred music with Sri Karunamayee and Western music
with Master singing teacher, Marie Traficante.
Mary specializes in developing and
delivering worship and healing programs that celebrate union with
the Divine Spirit within us through word, song, and movement.
She also leads various workshops in the areas of Healing, Interfaith
dialogue and Worship, Dances of Universal Peace, Christian
Meditation, Music and Vocal Improvisation.
